How can I register?

You can register online via the DATASPORT portal.

How and in what cases can I cancel my registration?

If cancellation insurance has been taken out, the entry fee will be refunded in the event of an accident or illness. There are no refunds for all other types of cancellations. The booked starting place cannot be transferred to the following year. Cancellation insurance can be taken out directly when registering online.

How should I travel?

We recommend travelling to the Aletsch Half Marathon by public transport. All participants benefit from a free journey on public transport from the Swiss border, including the cable car to Bettmeralp or Riederalp.

How can I avoid long waiting times on arrival and departure on race day?

The following alternative route can be used to avoid bottlenecks:

  1. from Brig to Mörel-Filet valley station (approx. 10 km) with the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway (MGBahn)
  2. from Mörel-Filet valley station to the car-free Riederalp centre with the aerial cableway of Riederalp-Bahnen
  3. from Riederalp centre approx. 20 minutes walk to the start on Bettmeralp (Bettmeralp mountain station)

Is there a storage point for valuables?

Yes, there is a storage point for valuables. The route to the depot is signposted at the start. You can find more information here.

How can I transfer my start number?

The transfer must be reported using the form. A fee of CHF 10 will be charged due to the administrative work involved. The costs will be charged to the person who takes over the starting place.

What should I do if I have not received a promo code for the free return journey?

You have probably changed your e-mail address. Please let us know your new e-mail address at info@aletsch-halbmarathon.ch.
