Together, they form the UNESCO World Heritage Trophy. These sporting classics, set amid impressive natural landscapes, combine to create a unique challenge that offers participants a very special experience.

Participants are free to choose from these four races. They may take part in all events, but must complete at least three of the four races in order to qualify for the UNESCO ranking.

Participants in the UNESCO World Heritage Trophy also receive free admission to the World Nature Forum in Naters.

Final ranking for the UNESCO World Heritage Trophy 2026

Anyone who has completed three of the four events will be included in the final ranking.

For each event, your finishing time will be divided by the winning time in your category. The resulting personal scores (quotients) will be added together for the final ranking. If you take part in four events, your worst quotient will be discarded.

The participant with the lowest total score wins the UNESCO World Heritage Trophy. This gives participants of all age categories a realistic chance of overall victory.

The top three participants overall and one person selected at random from the UNESCO World Heritage Trophy 2026 will win a weekend for two in one of Switzerland's UNESCO World Heritage regions.
